Welcome to EDDZ world, Northampton based musician/song writer Liam Taylor, looking to break out, move forwards and very much to immersive himself artistically into EDDZ by exploring music, lyrics, visuals, art, and fashion, bringing all these elements together and presenting them through his three minute modern alt/indie pop anthems!
Ace of swords pulled out of the stack this little gem by UK Artist Eddz. His second single released in this year 2022. A remix of his previous release. Eddz is saturated and marinated in a fantastic blend of talent. I was hooked at the first listen. The instrumentations are layered into a dreamy-yet-edgy atmosphere in the opening, full of promise for lovers of Indie Alt-pop. The melody line of the drum feels hopeful and maybe even playful; energetic without being excessively attention-seeking. Love the complementary work of the bass drum, deep and anchoring and bringing out all of the colors and nuances of the lead and rhythmic guitars. And it keeps moving and evolving.
The dreaminess evolves into a more aggressive sensation, spilling into a wide, open verse fronted by the lead vocals and textured with quietly lush vocal harmonies. I don’t know if you can call this remix “enchanting” but I do feel to be under a spell. Happy to have been introduced to the work of this young artist, and curious where the road will take him.
