Meg Smith is United State based Artist. She likes early 2000s rom coms, playing her guitar Dolly and crying on the subway. Meg writes songs about being in her 20s in new york city and having absolutely no idea what she is doing.
Meg will be your favorite musician if you listen to her tracks if she is not yet.
With so many singers from this era losing their talent, changing keys or in the worst cases dropping complete octaves from the original vocals, here stands Meg Smith. Unrelenting, still improving, still working her ass off, and if Fuck Friday, is any indication, those other singers can go back to the bottle and cigarettes–just give Meg Smith the mic.
Awesome musicianship and production cannot save this release from being great ambient background music. Mixing mild and high notes along a melodic and rhythmic instrumentation. Nothing sticks to ribs on this release, than the richness in bass drum leaving the listener hungry for something more. Plenty of promise and potential. Best and more to come.
